Brassall Child Care Centre is a community operated facility run by a management committee of parents and a team of loyal, passionate childcare professionals. 

 

Each and every decision is made by our families for our families, which has been the case since 1975. Every dollar we make goes back into our centre, so our staff and children have everything they need for the best possible learning experience

  • What we can offer you at Brassall Child Care Centre

    • Larger than regulated requirements, well shaded outdoor areas in a natural setting.
    • 0 - 2 years Baby playground that is independently equipped, fully fenced, well shaded, softfall and grassed outdoor area that includes a fort.
    • Provides a developmental, interest-based program for all groups that is led by fully qualified educators and follows the early years learning framework.
    • Provides a kindergarten program for children 4 to 5 years (year prior to schooling) lead by our bachelor qualified and registered early childhood teacher.
    • Boasts highly-qualified, experienced educators with many long-term staff.
    • Exceeding quality rating in the child care national quality standards process.
    • Our centre provides nappies & wipes for children in the Baby and Toddler Rooms. We also provide sheets each day for rest time.
    • Close to public transport, schools and several shopping complexes.

About Our Centre

HOURS

Our centre is open from 6.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Closed on Public Holidays. We are closed for 2 weeks over Christmas. No Fees charged during this time.

MEALS

Our Centre provides 3 Meals each day - Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. All Meals are prepared and cooked daily on premises.

SUN LEVY

At Brassall Child Care Centre we supply Cancer Council Approved 50+ Sunscreen, Sun safe centre shirt and Broad Brim Sun Safe Hat. A $20 per child Sun Levy is payable annually.

MAINTENANCE

As we are a Community centre, we rely on parent involvement which is why we charge an annual Maintenance Levy of $100 per family. Levy is refunded upon attending working bees.

We were recommended this centre back in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. After being in the centre for six years we have had nearly every educator and now walk in everyday and feel like everyone is our extended family. It is the only place we feel comfortable leaving our little one at and can’t wait for our next baby to go through the centre too.
