About us

Brassall Child Care Centre is a community operated facility run by a management committee of parents and a team of loyal, passionate childcare professionals. 

Each and every decision is made by our families for our families, which has been the case since 1975. Every dollar we make goes back into our centre, so our staff and children have everything they need for the best possible learning experience. 

We’re one big, supportive family here at Brassall Child Care, and we’re proud to provide long day care for up to 55 children each day across four groups. 

Our fully qualified educators deliver developmental, interest-based programs for all our children, following the Early Years Learning Framework. We welcome babies from the age of 6 weeks through to four and five-year-olds who participate in our kindy program, which is run by a bachelor qualified early childhood teacher. 

Our facilities are well-appointed and modern, but the jewel in our crown is our massive outdoor area – far larger than what is regulated. Our kids love getting out and about in nature, and we are incredibly proud of the vast, open space we can offer them to do just that, boasting grass as far as the eye can see, a Bali hut, trees, dirt, sand, shade, rocks … everything they need for a stimulating, learning environment. 

Everything is provided, from nutritious food and nappies through to sheets, baby wipes, water bottles and hats. You don’t have to bring a thing. 

We must be doing something right, as many of our highly qualified staff and educators have been with the centre for more than 20 years, including our director, Rebecca Morgan. It’s not uncommon for us to welcome generation after generation of children from the same family into our community. 

Caring is at the core of everything we do at Brassall Child Care Centre.

Meals

Our centre provides 3 meals each day Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. All meals are prepared and cooked daily on premises.

Enrolment Fee

An enrolment fee of $90.00 (a once-off non-refundable payment) must be paid within one week of commencement at Brassall Child Care Centre. This payment will be credited towards your first invoice

Sun Levy

At Brassall Child Care Centre, we we supply Cancer Council approved 50+ sunscreen, a broad brim sun safe hat and sun safe shirt. A $20 per child sun levy is payable annually.

Child Care Subsidy

Brassall Child Care Centre is an approved childcare service. If eligible, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will be paid directly to your childcare provider (Brassall Child Care Centre) to reduce the fees you pay. The amount of Child Care Subsidy you can get depends on your circumstances, and is set by the government.
